This Self-Adhesive Picture Framing and Backing Tape (48mm x 50m ) is tough, strong, lasting, reliable, quality, pressure-sensitive or self-adhesive, flat-back, brown Kraft Paper Tape. This tape's backing offers superb adhesions by reason of its aggressive synthetic rubber adhesive with high temperature resistance.
It is ideal for general picture frames, photo frames, mirrors and other hobby and craft purposes. Commonly available in 3 popular widths, 24mm, 36mm and 48mm x 50 metres in length. Unlike other silicone-coated Kraft tapes, this tape does stick to itself and will stay stuck without peeling off.
It is suitable for hinging inexpensive art, securing foam filling, backings, fillets and fillers as well as for sealing the back of picture frames to keep out dust and taping dust covers and edging. This Kraft paper tape, while strong, makes it easy to use unwind and burnish by hand. This Self-Adhesive Picture Framing and Backing Tape (48 mm x 50 m ) can be written on for safe, easy inclusion of notes with framed prints.
This tape suits not only picture framing applications but general usage, packaging, carton sealing, signage, displays and much more. Easily hand tearable or may be cut with scissors or any knife or cutter. Special dispensers or tools are not required. Beware of cheaper hot melt imitations which dry out, lift and drop off!
This picture framing tape may be Kikusui, Rinrei or Stylus, depending on availability. These three brands are interchangeable and very similar in appearance, application and quality. Should the tape brand be important, please inquire before ordering.

How come I couldn’t find this picture framing backing tape from any store in Sydney but I found it online. Anyhow I do my own framing and I need these self-adhesive Kraft tapes to finish off and seal the back of my frames.
