This A3 Ashwood Photo Frame is a MDF-composite, wooden photo frame and picture frame comes with clear glass, a Craftwood back with a hinged stand or leg ( when fitted ) and steel swivel clips or flexible tabs to hold the frame assemby together. These are wood picture frames made from MDF ( Medium Density Fibreboard) and considered environmentally friendly because manufactured from reconstituted wood waste which do not contain forest timbers or green wood chips. The clips or tabs may be swung or bent to remove the back and insert the photograph, certificate or artwork inside the frame. After inserting the art, the clips or tabs are repositioned and the fitted frame may then be hung or stood. The hangers at the back of the frame allow for portrait ( vertical ) or landscape ( horizontal ) wall hanging and the leg ( when fitted ) lets the frame stand on tables and other flat surfaces. No fitting or servicing by a picture framer is necessary or required. This photo frame is shrink-wrapped for your cleanliness and protection. We liked these A3 Ashwood photo frames because they are smooth and elegant. The colour of the frame is a nice, striped middle brown which really fits in with our table and dining furniture. Other stores’ frames were either too light, or too expensive in price.
